Where to Find Dex DeShawn’s Plan B Pistol in Cyberpunk 2077

Before I get into how to find the Plan B in Cyberpunk 2077, I should mention that spoilers are below. Anyone who isn’t far into the story should click away now if you don’t want spoilers.

Remember when Dex put a bullet in our head? Then later Takemura put a bullet in Dex’s head? Now you’re alive and Dex is dead.

Did you know that his body is still where he got killed? And did you know that you can go get the same gun he used to try to kill you with? It’s called Plan B, which the irony there is that killing you was his plan b when the Arasaka mission went bad.

The gun in itself is interesting. The perk on it is that the bullets have a higher chance to apply Bleeding, but every shot cost eddies. This gun basically shoots out eddies! It also comes with a high crit damage percentage and a 2 headshot multiplier.

To get this gun, go visit Dex’s body, which would also be you revisiting the place you were dumped after he tried to kill you. There is some other really good stuff to grab in this area that I will mention later.

But That’s Not All

After you pick up the gun, if you keep walking straight ahead past Dex’s body you’ll be able to open the bluish refrigerator-looking container. Inside you will find the body of a famous Netrunner from the 2023 period. Johnny will school you on the events that took place.

He will have some tech on him. You’ll take the tech to Nix in the afterlife to get checked out. Once you finish this side mission, he’ll give you some powerful quickhacks. System Reset amongst them.

The Plan B is also one of the guns you can store on the wall in your storage room. Just add the gun into the storage and it will appear on the wall. This doesn’t work with other storage areas; like in your car.
