Easy Enhancement Core Farm in Destiny 2

Suppose you’re like me then you are struggling to keep Enhancement Cores in your inventory in Destiny 2. That is all about to change after you learn this Enhancement Core farm. And it is straightforward.

All you need is armor pieces that you don’t want and plan to discard. However, before you dismantle it, level it up to level 8. Then dismantle it.

You will spend 3 Enhancement Cores and 1 Enhancement Prism (along with some shards and glimmer). When you dismantle it, you will receive 6 Enhancement Cores. Three more enhancement cores than you spent to upgrade.

Enhancement Prisms

Do this with every armor piece you dismantle and you’ll stack up on Enhancement Cores in no time. Yes, you will spend 1 Prism, but you can get those by equipping the Greater Core Harvest mod on your ghost and playing the corresponding activity. For example, the Vanguard mod has a chance of awarding an Enhancement Prism upon defeating bosses.

Don’t have many Cores and Prisms right now? Clean your vault.

You need to go to your vault and be honest with yourself. If there are things in there that you haven’t used in the past few months, dismantle them. If there are things that you most likely won’t use, dismantle them.

If you have a laptop or desktop, you can Google Destiny Item Manager to aid you in doing so. DIM allows for quick management of your inventory. Go in, unlock everything, lock anything that you for sure don’t want to get rid of, then delete the rest.

As far as I know, this trick doesn’t work for weapons.
