Season of the Deep in Destiny 2 offers a way for those still on the grind to get high stat armor for that triple 100 stat build (me included but I had it at one point). To do this, you’ll need to utilize two things; your ghost mod and Deep Armor Focusing from the Deep Engram Encoder located inside the H.E.L.M. First you’ll need Deep Engrams, which you get by participating in Season of the Deep activities and increasing your Sonar Station reputation.

Destiny 2: Where to Get High Stat Armor in Season of the Deep

Ghost Mod

First, you want to equip one of the “armorer” mods on your ghost. This allows you to influence one of the stats you get when you do get armor. For example, I have the Resilience Armorer which makes the armor that I get drop with high Resilience.

If you don’t know which one to equip, go with Resilience. Resilience is good to have, especially in high-end activities for survivability. The other stats depend on your class.

Deep Armor Focusing: Destiny 2

Next, go to the H.E.L.M and use your Deep Engrams on Deep Armor Focusing inside the Deep Engram Decoding machine. You won’t be able to focus the specific armor pieces until you unlock the Deep Armor Focusing seasonal bonus. Just focus the Deep Engram and you’ll eventually unlock this seasonal bonus; which requires you to get all 5 pieces of Deep armor first.

Keep doing this process of getting Deep Engrams and using this focusing method and you’ll have a high stat build in no time. You and either use the focusing engram to get a random piece of armor or focus a specific piece of armor after you unlock that feature. Focusing specific pieces cost more than using the engram.
