Besides having a good range of colors to choose from, Minior has one of the most interesting abilities and moveset in the game. With the right set up, he could become a tanky powerhouse. Here’s the best Minior Moveset in Pokemon Sun and Moon

Recommended Ability:
Shields Down (Only Ability)

If Minior’s HP is above half, it will change into its Meteor form. If at the end of the turn its health is below half, it will change back to its Core Form. This pretty much gives you a Mon that is both defensive and offensive.

This Mon gets high defense and special defence in Meteor form and high attack, sp attack and speed in core form. Also while in Meteor form, it is unaffected by any status conditions which could be very useful in some situations.

Recommended Moveset:
Earthquake
Shell Smash
Acrobatics
Stone Edge

Stone Edge is a very powerful but a bit of a risk move with it only having 80 percent accuracy, but Minior has good defences which makes it a safe choice. Earthquake will help you defend against Electric types since Minior has an Electric weakness.

Shell Smash will help you out-speed a lot of fast electric types (like Jolteon). Shell Smash decreases your Defense and Special Defense stat by one stage, but increases your Attack, Special Attack, and Speed by two stages.

Stealth Rock
U-Turn
Earthquake/Dazzling Gleam/Explosion.
Stone Edge

Sometimes its good to have an unexpected ability so Dazzling Gleam and Earthquake would be good choices. This paired with U-Turn is good if you are hit in Core Form. If you just want to make sure you exterminate a Pokemon then Explosion is the way to go.

Recommended Item:
White Herb

White Herb is a one-time use item that prevents any negative stats to the Pokémon that holds it. Pair this to counter the effects of Shell Smash. Also Acrobatics will be at 110 power after using the Shell Smash/White Herb Combo since Acrobatics gets stronger if you are not holding an item.

You can also run a Focus Sash to ensure Stealth Rocks or Shell Smash.

Recommended Nature:
Adamant (-sp. atk/+atk)
Jolly (-sp. atk/+spd)

Adamant will allow you for more power when using moves like acrobatics, Stone Edge, etc. Jolly will allow you to get that maximum amount of Speed.
