Capcom did a survey asking what people thought the most hunted and least hunted monsters in Monster Hunter World Iceborne was. After the survey, they revealed that Zinogre was the most hunter monster. Mainly due to the decoration farm. Then they revealed that Brute Tigrex was the least hunted.
They took these two monsters and made special events out of them. Zinogre got a quest that dropped a lot of Dragonvein materials for the Steamworks and allowed people to load up on fuel. Brute Tigrex quest is named “Brand New Brute” The way it works in both quest is when you make them drop shinnies, instead of them being monster materials they will be other materials, which in Brute Tigrex quest it will be armor spheres.
We are not talking low tier armor spheres here. He drops hard armor spheres, heavy armor spheres, king armor spheres and even true armor spheres, which I have yet to even see one of those. I burned a lot of armor spheres upgrading Fatalis armor so these will definitely be useful for me.
You also will get armor spheres at the end of the quest along a Brute Tigrex ticket which you can use to craft the buff body, the layered Duffel Penguine head armor, the Clair layered armor set and the Sealed Dragon Cloth.
Gold Crowns?
Another thing to note, it seems like the monsters you fight in these quest are large monsters. When I did the Zinogre quest I noticed that he was huge in all the fights I did. So if you’re looking for gold crowns, then this may be the place to get them.
