One of the things that I hoped that Capcom added in Monster Hunter Rise is hidden collectibles you would have to go find. Especially with this new vertical freedom incorporated in this game. During your hunt in the Shrine Ruins, you may come across something called a Relic Record that contains an old message. They are hidden (and hidden well) around the locale.

There are 10 of them. There are also some Rampage messages but I want to just focus on the Shrine Ruins messages here. Once you find them, you’ll get 1000 points and it will contain a script that tells a short story. You can read this story inside your notebook in the hunter’s notes menu.
