All Rare Endemic Life in Monster Hunter World

Here is a list of all the Rare Endemic Life in Monster Hunter World. These are all the endemic life that has a rarity of 4. Some of these will be easy to find. Others will take hours.

There are a few things that I will recommend doing before looking for each of these. Leave your palico behind since some endemic life will run if it sees your palico. Bring your ghillie mantle. Some of these you WILL not be able to catch without.

A lot of these will require several tries so keep reloading expeditions if you don’t see it.

Bristly Crake

The Bristly Crake can be found on Mosswine and Gastodon. I found mine on a Gastodon in area 5 of the Elders Recess.

You can keep rotating between the Ancient Forest and the Elders Recess until you see one

Forest Pteryx

The Forest Pteryx can be found in the Ancient Forest in areas with Woodland Pteryx.

It actually took me a while to find the Forest Pteryx. Hopefully you have better luck.

Augurfly

The Augurfly has a higher chance of coming out during rain but can be caught during other weather.

You can catch one in the Ancient forest and Rotten vale.

This was another one that was hard to catch for me. I saw them everywhere after I caught one though.

The Wiggler Queen can be found during the night in the Coral Highlands.

These came with the Final Fantasy crossover.

Rare but on the easier side of finding in my opinion.

Pilot Hare

You can find the Pilot Hare in the Ancient Forest (near northwest camp 8) and Wildspire Waste (first area from camp 1)

Phantom Flutterfly

The Phantom Flutterfly. I actually caught this one when I wasn't looking for it near area 11 in the Ancient Forest.

Emerald Helmcrab

Moonlight Gekko

Moonlight Gekko can be found near Brightmoss.

The Whetfish, Pink Parexus , Goldenfry and Sushifish all have “Great” versions that are bigger and more rare.

There is also the great bomb arowna, great gastronomy tuna, great golden fish and great gunpowder fish

Great Platinumfish

Like other fish, Platinumfish have a bigger more rare version.

Prism Hercudrome

The Prism Hercudrome is on all maps and comes during dusk or dawn. I like to go to area 10 of the Wildspire Waste.

King Marlin

Best spot to catch the King Marlin is in Area 4 of the Ancient Forest.

Downy Crakes

These rarely spawn on the backs of Aptonoths or Apceros. You WILL need Ghillie mantle. Try doing the HR3 “Yolked in the Waste” delivery quest since you get more herd of Apceros to spawn.

DON'T FORGET FLOWERING CACTUAR CUTTINGS! Little dudes are really rare to find and extremely hard to catch (small and fast) plus I found mine with a lot of greenery. I've only ever seen TWO of them, and I caught one.
