When Exactly Does the Gunsmith inventory reset in Destiny 2?

The Gunsmith has gone from a guy you’d check in with every once in a while, to a guy you check in with every day. This is due to a change in his inventory. He now has a daily featured selection of weapons and a weekly featured selection of weapons you can purchase.

You may have noticed that he has two pages of weapons. The weapons on the first page are his daily selection. The guns on his second page are his weekly selection. The perks on these guns have reset timers. So if there’s a weapon with bad perks, come back to the weapon after the weapon’s perk reset time and see if it has good perks.

If you would like to see a timer, you can check light.gg. They have a Gunsmith reset timer and grade how good the weapons are. I recommend picking up any gun with an S grade and maybe once with an A grade.

Be sure to look for any weapons you want but don’t have enough patterns to craft. Deepsight Harmonizers allow you to turn weapons into Deepsight weapons. So if you have four patterns for that Ikelos submachine gun and need one more pattern, check Banshee (or Xur).
