Ways to Farm Azoth in New World
If you want to move around in New World, you’re going to need Azoth. If you want to craft stuff and have a lot of perks on it, you’ll need some Azoth. So how do you get it?
You can get some solo or you can get some while doing group activities. I will mention the solo ways first since they are the quickest. Then I’ll mention the group activities that you’ll earn them in.
Main Ways
Corruption Activities
The corruption Activities will probably be the quickest way to get Azoth. These are indicated by the red icons on the map. Go there, and eliminate the corruption in that area and you’ll get Azoth at the end. You’ll need the correct level Azoth Staff to complete it, so be sure to finish the campaign missions.
Azoth Extraction Tools
The tools you will use for mining, skinning, woodcutting, etc, can have a perk called Azoth Extraction. This gives you a chance to get one Azoth every time you harvest. So for example, if you have it on your pickaxe, you have a chance to get one Azoth every time you break a rock.
Most tools with the perk will have around a 40 percent chance but you can get tools that rolled with higher percentages. Getting Azoth as you farm resources is a good way to stack up.
Other Ways
Town Quest/Main Quest
Some town quest offers a pretty nice chunk of Azoth for completing them. Be sure to grab the quest from the NPC’s in any new town you enter. Complete them and some will offer Azoth as a reward. You’ll get a good bit from the main quest as well.
Expeditions and mobs
While you’re doing expeditions, you’ll have a chance to get Azoth from killing enemies and as a reward after each mini-boss. You may receive a large bottle of Azoth as a reward; which you will need to open. Similar to a chest.
Then there’s always the normal mobs out in the world. You have a chance to get it from them but it’s more of an RNG thing.
