I love Cyberpunk 2077. It’s an amazing game buried underneath a whole bunch of negative things I won’t get into. I’m sure most of us who played the game or have been paying attention to the issues brought to light on social platforms know what’s up by now.
But it gets worse. We know the game needed more time. But if you were to play a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 and find a way not to install any updates, even the day one update, you’ll see that CD Projekt Red put the game on discs even though it was far from finished. This means that when we buy the game, it is an unfinished version (more unfinished than the update version that is) until we download the update, which we will be prompted to install when we boot it up.
Tyler McVicker played that version of Cyberpunk… the pre-day one update version that is. He was able to show the extent of just how unfinished the game was. He was able to see a lot of the changes and cut content. Then, he documented it on YouTube.

The one thing he said that stood out to me is how the UI has a lot of custom silencers and suppressors aside from the one silencer. When I was exploring the different areas of the game trying to discover every nook and cranny, I found some silencers that were different from any others. But for some reason, after I picked them up they were nowhere to be found in my inventory.
I originally thought they were DLC items and I wasn’t supposed to have them yet. Now I believe that it was cut content that they forgot to remove.
I still believe in Cyberpunk 2077. I believe that they can turn it around and pull a “No Man Sky” comeback. And if (and most likely when) they do we’ll all be happy.
I have a lot of other information on Cyberpunk and plan to release more in the future. Check out the Cyberpunk 2077 category. . Feel free to follow Hallowpeak Gaming on Facebook and Twitter if you would like to get notified of posts I make in the future.
