The Time-Worn Spire is another weapon that’s making a return in Season 13. Personally, I can’t wait to grab one for pvp. Rapid-fire pulse rifles do well in this current hand cannon meta.
This is because not only do they have a good time to kill (even with body shots) and decent range, they also cause a bit of flinch. You should be able to match up against 140 hand cannons comfortably. 120 hand cannons, however, still have a range advantage on you.
So for anyone that struggles with hand cannons but wants other solid options, this is one to try. The problem before with rapid-fire pulse rifles is that there aren’t many of them. You had the Autumn Wind but that sunset with season 12.
Perk Rolls of Time-Worn Spire in Season 13
As far as the rolls go, in the first 2 columns, I would pick Red Dot Micro with Ricochet Rounds to push out that range and stability. Then I would go Quickdraw then Iron Grip. We want as much stability as possible here. Rampage is always a solid option too.
If you want to go moving target, then do it to simply push out the aim assist while moving. Someone did a test and found that the movement speed increase isn’t much. Plus there are a lot of other scenarios you need to get past while playing in order for it to be in a situation where it would shine.
What I mean is that you’ll need to get past grenades, team shooting, abilities, and other stuff before it can be implemented. You’ll be better off with Quickdraw.
