The Harmony Perk is Better Than I Thought | Destiny 2

The Harmony perk in Destiny 2 is another perk introduced to us in Season 15: Season of the Lost. Whoever at Bungie is in charge of bringing new perks into the perk pool has been doing a good job. Between this season and last season, the new perks have really changed things up and have shaken up the meta.

At first, I didn’t think much of the Harmony perk. But I think my mindset was more PvE-focused at the time(not that it’s not good in PvE). This thing is crazy in PvP. People have already made some crazy builds.

You can run a build that uses the Harmony perk on two different weapons. You get a kill with one weapon and switch to the other that now has Harmony active. Get a kill with that increased damage and switch to the first weapon that also now has Harmony active.

Harmony Trait: Final blows with other weapons improve this weapon’s damage and performance for a short duration.

How long does it last?

The perk itself lasts for about 7 seconds. Now that I think about it, the one thing that I still need to test is if the perk stays active while you have that weapon stowed after getting a kill. Or do you need to hurry up and switch to the stowed weapon before it runs out?

If the perk stays, then there would be no urgency to switch to the Harmony weapon after getting a kill. You can sort of hold it until you see someone, then switch to it. That might be overpowered so I would imagine you have a certain amount of time to switch to your next weapon and burn the perk.
