Rewards for Completing the United Colonies Quest in Starfield

At some point during the early parts of your journey across the galaxy to explore the mysteries of the universe in Starfield, you’ll get an invite to join the UC Vanguard from a guy named John Tuala. Accepting this will begin your initiation process into the Vanguard. You’ll begin your orientation which involves a history lesson and pilot training, which you can take advantage of to level up your piloting skill.

From there, things begin to move fast and get dark. Terror strikes and secrets surface as you work to uncover one of the universe’s greatest mysteries. You’ll also get some of the best rewards free of charge. However, if you’re not careful you could miss some of the rewards from this quest.

Orlase’s Lab Coat

At some point during the quest line, you’ll be sent to find “The Warlock”. You’ll have to make a decision to kill or capture the guy on the ship. I decided to board the ship and confront him. I was able to get this Orlase lab coat as a result.

If you blow the ship up, I am unsure if this coat will be available through the wreckage. This coat gives you the chance to craft weapon mods without using resources.

Epic X-989 Microgun

When a game gives you a bunch of meds and a gun like this, just know you’re about to face something that’s going to tear into you. As you prep to do a mission, you’ll receive an epic version of this microgun. You uh… you may need it.

Legendary Advanced UC Space Suit Set

You will also have a chance to pick up some equipment to prepare you for the mission mentioned above. Be careful, you have the option to skip this and go straight to the mission. If you do, you’ll miss out on this legendary set of advanced UC gear and a ton of other stuff.

Free Penthouse

Once you finish the mission, you’ll be gifted a free penthouse. You can decorate it as you like. It will be located in Mercury Tower in the Residential district.

Along with the listed stuff above, you’ll get credits along the way. Also, you may find this Va’ruun Starshard pistol. Although I don’t think it’s a guaranteed reward for everyone.

Also, you may see someone doing target practice on some training dummies in one particular mission. You can grab the outfit of the mannequins.
