Palworld: 5 Tips and Tricks

At this stage in my Palworld playthrough, the game is still early. The game could have changed depending on when you see this, especially if some time has passed. Therefore, some of these tips and tricks may be changed or removed.

With that said, I’d like to share a few tips and tricks that I’ve picked up in my many hours playing through Palworld. There’s a lot that the game leaves for you to figure out on your own. However, discovering these things is all part of the fun!

Fast Pal Revive

Whenever your pal gets KO’d in battle, take it to your base. If you place the KO’d pal as a worker at your base, one of the other pals will come rescue it and take it to a bed. Once placed on a pal bed, place it back into your party. The pal will still need to recover but will be active.

No Fall Damage

When using flying pals as a mount, don’t worry about fall damage. If your pal runs out of stamina while flying they will fall but will not take fall damage. This may be the case for all pals, but I have not tested that.

Increase Capture Rate

There are a few things you can do to increase your capture rate other than using stronger pal spheres. If you apply a status effect to a pal (poison, paralyze, burn) it increases the capture rate. Hitting a pal with a sphere from behind also gives a bonus to capture percentage.

Fast Travel from Base

Once you place down a pal box for your base, you can use it to travel fast to other places.

Egg Sizes

When collecting pal eggs pay attention to their size. Some of them will be large and huge. Some of the strongest pals come in huge eggs.
