How to Beat Razor Hughes in Cyberpunk 2077

So you get to the final boxing match, only to find out you have to fight Razor Hughes…a tank with boxing gloves on. Then you start the fight and get knocked out in two punches. It may seem impossible but there’s a simple way of defeating him.

He has an attack where he does a jump lunge at you. That’s the attack you want to take advantage of and the only attack you want him doing. Just parry that attack by pressing the block button as soon as you’re about to get hit. Then hit him with about 5 quick punches to the abs and step back.

Step and repeat this strategy until you take him down. You don’t want to be close to him for too long because then he’ll start throwing punch combos. Two of those will knock you out.

If you miss the parry or blocked instead of parrying then I would suggest throwing a quick punch, then step back. Again, I wouldn’t stay close to him for a long period of time.

Helpful Perks

There are a few perks in the Street Brawler tree that will help you in the case that you do get hit; Rush and Biding Time. Rush alone will help you if you get hit. It allows successful attacks with blunt weapons to regenerate a percentage of health over a few seconds.

Biding Time allows you to recover health for blocking attacks. This one requires 18 body attributes so you may not have this one yet. Any other perks that increase the damage of blunt weapons in any way will be useful too.

To sum it up, this fight is just timing and patience. You’ll also have a few perks that will allow you to recover health if you do get hit.

If you’re wondering, I have on gorilla arms but I don’t think it’s necessary for this fight. I won’t go into what happens after you defeat him. I’ll let you figure that out.
