How the Adagio Perk Works in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost
We are now in yet another new season in Destiny 2. As per usual, we have some new perks to get our hands on. Some of these perks we may want to keep our eyes on in the coming days. They may be a bit more deadly than we first think.
Take this Adagio perk for example. After defeating a target, it makes the weapon fire (auto, hand cannons), charge(fusions), or draw(bows) more slowly but increases the amount of damage it does. This thing can roll on the Judgment hand cannon, the Vulpecula hand cannon, and The Last Breath auto rifle.
I’m wondering how this performs in the Crucible. Will it give the Last Breath the “Suros Regime” treatment? Will the Judgment hit similar to a 120 but at a faster rate? Will 180 hand cannons shine more? We will know once the dust of this new season settles.
Adagio Demonstration
For now, let me show you a visual example of how this perk works. I’ll be using it on the Vulpecula hand cannon. I will show the damage and rate of fire before killing an enemy. Then I’ll show the rate of fire and damage after killing an enemy.
As you can see after the rate of fire test, the precision damage was 5,025. After the kill, you can see that the gun fired slower. The damage jumped up to 6,282. That’s a 1,257 damage jump on these enemies in this scenario.
Pretty straightforward. As I stated before, things may get a bit interesting in PvP.
The guns this perk can roll on are as follows:
- the Last Breath
- Judgment
- Vulpecula
- Fractethyst
- Wolftone Draw
- Iota Draconic,
- Canis Major
- Reed’s Regret.
