Fastest Way to Level Up Piloting in Starfield

If you’re looking to level up your piloting skill fast in Starfield, collect 4 skill points first. The goal is to do this without interruption and you’ll need the skill points to flow to the next rank seamlessly. If you already have some ranks unlocked, just bring however many skill points you need to unlock the remaining ranks.

Next head over to the MAST building in the MAST district on planet Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system. Accept the invite to join the Vanguard from John Tuala. He will then send you to your orientation.

Take the elevator down to your orientation. Your way marker will guide you. You’ll go through a museum that shows a timeline of events that occurred previously. At the end of that timeline, you’ll begin your pilot training.

Pilot Simulation Farming

This is what you’ll use to level up your piloting. It is a pilot simulation that you can do for as long as you want.

In your skill tree, to rank to the next piloting rank, it will require you to get a certain number of ship kills. The simulation will have waves of ships for you to fight, starting from level one to level six.

When you get to a level that’s too hard for you, just exit the training simulation. Then leave out the door of the simulation room and enter back in. It will reset the ranks back to level one.

You’ll have master rank Piloting and no time and no ship will be off-limits to you. C-class ships will now be accessible to you. Try stealing ships when they land on a planet or moon you’re exploring.
