Destiny 2 Season of the Deep: Guide to Acquiring Epochal Integration

When Lightfall was first unveiled, players caught a glimpse of what would eventually become known as the Epochal Integration, and naturally, we expected it to arrive with the expansion. However, to our surprise, it didn’t debut then. Little did we know, it would drop a season later here in Season of the Deep.

You must have finished a previous exotic mission called Unfinished Business to get this. If you’ve completed it, just talk to Nimbus and he will give you a mission called Parting the Veil. If not, complete that mission (which is quite fun in my opinion). Acquiring the season pass may also be a requirement.

This won’t take long. There are only 6 steps (well, 5 to get the gun). If you can, get some friends to help you.

How to Get Epochal Integration

Step one kill Cabal

The first step is to simply kill Cabal on Neomuna. I simply loaded up in a Terminal Overload. Collect 10 tracking data.

Step 2 kill Vex

Next, they’ll ask you to do the same thing you did with the Cabal, but with the Vex. This may take longer than when you had to kill Cabal. I unfortunately forget which area you kill them at but a way point should show you.

Step 3, kill more Vex

Next, you’ll have to go to the Irkalla Complex to kill more Vex. If you don’t know how to get to the Irkalla Complex, I’ve provided a video below.

Step 4, acquiring the Epochal Integration

You’ll need to complete the Parting the Veil mission where you fight a Tormentor. Beat him and you’ll unlock the gun when you get back to Nimbus. Head to the Pouka Pond and claim your Epochal Integration. You will also get a new aspect for your class.

I originally thought that this gun would be a monster in the Crucible due to it having Keep Away and Eye of the Storm, but that low range stat hurts it a bit. Personally, it feels good to me because I need a lot of stability to use hand cannons and this gun has a lot. Having Incandescent and Nanotech Tracer Rockets makes this thing a monster in PvE.

There is some shader that does interesting things on this gun. Photo Finish makes the gun change colors.

Which shader do you like best? Let me know in the comments below
