CDProjekt Red is Ready To Talk About Phantom Liberty

It has been a while since the announcement of CDProjekt Red’s first (and only) Expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 called Phantom Liberty back in September of 2022. Since then, they’ve been pretty tight-lipped about details. This may be because, after the rough launch of Cyberpunk, they wanted to keep things close to the chest and not talk about it til it was polished.

Summer Game Fest

Well, it looks like they’re ready to talk. CDProjekt Red announced that they will have hands-on sessions for press and content creators at Summer Game Fest. Summer Game Fest is set to stream live Thursday, June 8 on Youtube Theater.

They are also planning plenty of hands-on opportunities for the community at a later date. I expect that a release date for Phantom Liberty will be released during this event. For more information on what else is going on at the Summer Game Fest, visit their website.

CDProjekt Red has been releasing amazing updates to the base game and has really polished it. I believe they’ve learned a lot from the feedback they received from the launch of Cyberpunk. This expansion will be a result of that feedback in addition to the numerous changes they’ve made to the game.
