Out of all the new Pokemon released with Sun and Moon, Toxapex is definitely one of the most feared. This is probably why they made catching one with the right nature very challenging. Your primary goal with this Pokemon is to get in, tank damage and disrupt. You can also use this Mon to stop set ups. Here is the best Toxapex Moveset:
Recommended Ability:
Regenerator
Regenerator restores up to 33.3% of its maximum HP when it is switched out of battle. With this mon, you can go in to disrupt and tank things then pop out and get your health restored.

Toxic/Toxic Spikes
Recover
Haze
Scald is good to get a chance to get that burn status on the opponent and reduce their attack power. Toxic and toxic spikes is a good option to do damage since Toxapex isn’t primarily an offensive Mon.
Toxic and toxic spikes is also good if you have a poison type that has Venoshock (Doubles its’ attack power) and Venom Drench (lowers the Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats of all poisoned targets by one stage).
Recover is always good on a tanky mon like Toxapex.
Haze is good to shut down Mons that are trying to use moves like Dragon Dance. You don’t want to build a team and have nothing to counter set-up Mons. At lease, not if you don’t plan to beat them to the set-up game.
Recommended Items:
Black Sludge
Black Sludge is similar to Leftovers, healing you a bit of HP after each turn, but only works on poison types. One reason why you would run this over leftovers is because if someone takes or switches your items, they lose HP from holding Black Sludge if they are not a poison type.
Recommended Nature:
Bold(-Atk,+Def)
You won’t be using any physical moves so Atk is not needed.
