So your goal here is to point out which gem you are looking for and figure out the best method to farm it. For example, if I am looking for the Marathon gem, I see from the bottom table that it is in category S. In the top table, the chart on the top right side shows that I need a worn feystone (2% chance) or warped feystone (5% chance).

According to the table on the left, I should farm threat level 3 monsters since you will only get those 2 kinds of gems there and not 3 like the other threat levels.
