In the post I made about the hints of a new subclass, I talked about Old Chicago and how it could be the next new location in Destiny 2. Savathun took over Old Chicago after the Collapse, so that adds more to the belief that this location may come in Witch Queen. However, there is more information on Old Chicago that I didn’t share in that post.
Old Chicago is also rumored by the Exo stranger and Ada-1 to hold at least 7 major Black Armory vaults. So one could ask the question, will we be using forges within the expansion. Bungie brought back the Black Armors armor, but we don’t have the weapons at this time.
If they do, then they’ll probably have a new forge for Old Chicago. As far as new weapons go, I believe an exotic trace rifle and a linear fusion rifle would be nice since it’s the only weapon types that didn’t have a black armory style. Other than that, they can bring back the old weapons and throw some new ones in there too.
The black armory weapons had some of my favorite weapons in the game design-wise. The armor and shaders are also some of my favorites. I miss my Blast Furnace.
This is all speculation of course. We’ll find out more when Bungie reveals Witch Queen on August 24. I will have updates later on when Bungie releases new information. Check out the Destiny 2 category for all the information on Destiny 2. Feel free to follow Hallowpeak Gaming on Facebook and Twitter if you would like to get notified of posts I make in the future.
Quick Plug: Dr. Squatch Soap Is Too Good and Needs to Be Nerfed
I bought this soap finally after seeing the advertisements (I’m sure you’ve seen them too). Now I can’t use any other soap. This soap has changed my life and I think you should try it. I should warn you though, all other soaps will not be good enough for you afterward.
I like Pine Tar. It’s not as smooth as the other soaps they have but you can see the ingredients and the smell is amazing! I’m not sponsored by them by the way. Yeah… it’s that good.
