Protective Light Nightstalker Hunter PvE Build

This build will focus on being able to get yourself out of tight situations in a pinch. If you’re doing some of the tougher activities, this will definitely help you stay alive. Protective Light will be the main focus of this build.

Protective Light gives you damage resistance against combatants when your shield is destroyed when you are Charged with Light. It consumes all the stacks of Charged with Light. If you’ve never used this mod, just know that this thing saves your life. The damage resistance is significant.

Subclass

The subclass we will be using is the top tree Nightstalker. This compliments Protective Light because it’s another tool you can use to get yourself out of a tight situation. The camouflage will stop the bullets from raining on you.

Exotic

The exotic we will use is the Graviton Forfeit. Aides in the camouflage, and also your Recovery is greatly increased. Again, aides in the whole survivability thing. Plus it looks cool.

Mods needed to become Charged with Light

Of course, we need ways to become Charged with Light. We will use Elemental Charge which will give you a stack of Charged with Light by picking up an elemental well. Two, if the well matches your subclass (which it will).

To complete this build we will use Reaping Wellmaker. After activating your class ability (which you will do a lot with this Subclass), your next weapon final blow spawns a Void elemental well.

Put it all together

The synergy of this build works like this: you dodge and go invisible. Then you kill an enemy to get the Void well from Reaping Wellmaker. You get TWO stacks of charged with light because of Elemental Charge and the well being Void. Then when your shields break, you get a significant damage resistance from Protective Light.

This has helped me stay alive; Especially when doing difficult quests like Harbinger. I will show what I have for the rest of my build.

I like burst damage weapons for crowd control so I usually use weapons with Dragonfly or my Plugone.1 with Reservoir Burst. That’s why I have the fusion Rifle Holster mod on my legs.

High mobility to aide with the class ability timer. And the rest spec out for fusion and linear fusions since they’re the hot weapons this season.
