Once you complete the campaign in Sword and Shield (which I recommend you do first) one of the things you will do is prepare your Pokemon for battling. This means that you will need to find the usual battle items like choice spec, life orb, etc. In this guide, I will show the locations of the most important items you need.
Where to find Choice Scarf in Pokemon Sword and Shield
First you need to get the old letter from a little girl in Hammerlocke. She will ask you to take the letter to a guy named Frank in Ballonlea. She should be somewhere around this area.
Make your way to Ballonlea. You get here when you’ve reached route 06 and after you get out of the Glimwood Tangle.
Once you get here, the first house on the left will have a man named Frank in it. Give the letter to him, he will tell you a short story about his past and then he will give you the Choice Scarf.
