Lasting Impressions in Destiny 2 is one of the new perks that came in Season 13. It causes the rockets to attach on impact and detonate after a delay. It increases the blast radius and damage of the rockets’ explosion.
I wanted to know just how much that damage was. I first recorded the damage numbers of my target with the same rocket launcher without Lasting Impressions. Then I recorded the damage of Lasting Impressions, making sure I used the same targets and that I kept my light level the same during the duration of the test.
Without Lasting Impressions
As you can see, the rocket launcher did around 41,600 without Lasting Impressions with around 5,800 impact damage.
With Lasting Impressions
As you can see the rocket launcher did around 54,400 damage with lasting impressions.
That’s a pretty substantial damage increase. You can pair that with Impact Casting to get even more damage. I tested that too in case you’re wondering how much a direct hit with this perk increases the damage. The smaller number will be the one that we’re looking for here.
Impact Castings Destiny 2
The first video was the rocket launcher without Impact Castings. We already know that it does around 5,800. Now let see the damage on a rocket launcher with Impact Castings.
As you can see, the impact damage jumped up from around 5,800 to 6,400. So if you’re looking for some good perks for a rocket launcher, one that has Impact Castings with Lasting Impressions wouldn’t be a bad idea. Preferably one with with auto-loading holster.
