Do you find yourself running out of money in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne a lot? Well in my post “Fastest Steamworks fuel farm“, I talked about how you can farm Golden Eggs as well as fuel from that event. Keep in mind that you have a chance to receive Golden Eggs from the Steamworks mini game as well.
If you didn’t know, you can farm Zinogre’s back when ever you knock it down by using the bug net to grab the bugs off its back when its charged up. this will actually power Zinogre down and snag you some of the bugs off its back. These bugs will be used in the crafting of its armor.
In the “A Farewell to Zinogre” quest, instead of getting bugs, you will get Golden and Silver eggs. This means that you can keep doing this quest and stack up on those eggs. You also have a chance of receiving some at the end of the quest.
There is a limited amount of times you can farm its back though in each quest. You do have a chance to receive more golden eggs at the end of the quest.
If this event is not up you need to wait until it come back around. This event usually come during festivals or when it come around again on the event schedule.
