So I’ve compiled a list of 5 Destiny 2 tips that I believe will be very useful to you guys as you play Destiny 2. These things may be questions you may have had, things you may not know, myths that needed to be tested… whatever the case may be. Hopefully this information proves to be useful to you and as always if you do enjoy this post then make me happy and share it.
Resilience
First tip what I believe to be the “sweet spot” amount of resilience that you want in the crucible. That magic number is 6 and here’s why; you can kill someone with the old-fashioned with one shot to the head and 3 body shots, if they have low resilience. Now, im telling you that the magic number of resilience you should have is 6 because with 6 resilience, it will take someone 2 head shots and 2 body shots to take you down, which is more difficult.
Another reason to have 6 is because if you have your super activated, you can take one shot of from another super; making it more difficult for them to shut you down and more time for you to react. I’ve also taken a shot from a golden gun so if you want to be able to survive things like this, 6 resilience is the way to go.
Counterbalance Mods
Next tip is about Counterbalance mods or mods that reduces recoil for your weapon. There is a bit of confusion about what these mods actually do. A lot of people think these mods are useless and that they don’t work because they don’t make your gun stable enough to shoot like a laser.
That’s actually not what they are supposed to do. They are counterbalance mods, not stability mods. If anyone here played Destiny 1 then you know that if a gun had the counterbalance perk on it, that stopped the recoil of the gun from going in the left or right position when firing your weapon.
This did not affect how much the gun kicked up and down when you fired and the same goes for these mods. Therefore, these mods would be only useful on guns with rapid fire like pulse rifles and auto rifles and useless on hand cannons and scout rifles so if you were confused about those then hopefully that clears it up.
Mobility
If you don’t know by now, mobility does not increase your sprint speed. It increases your walk speed and jump height and this is basically only useful when strafing in the crucible, which make it a very useful thing to have in gun fights.
Handling
For those who are a bit lost on how handling works, this is basically how fast you can switch to that weapon in combat and how fast you can aim down your sights.
What you also may not know is that handling also help with flinching. This is a bit useful against opponents who are using guns that flinch a lot or guns with high-caliber rounds.
Exotic weapon skins
Whenever you get exotic weapon skins you don’t need to save them. Once you get them you will have that skin for that weapon even if you dismantle it. So you can get rid of it once you get it to save inventory or vault space.
