5 Things You Probably Didn’t Know in Destiny 2
Even if you’re a seasoned veteran in Destiny, there are still some things you may not know. I myself still find a trick or two and I’ve been playing since day one. Knowledge is power, and I have a few tidbits for you to add to your arsenal.
You can shoot away the Void disc when fighting Tormentors
Whenever you’re fighting Tormentors, shoot and get rid of that annoying disk that shoots out the wave projectiles. It will start spinning crazily while on a path to orbit.
Stand on top of Taken Blight when shooting it
If you stand on top of the Taken blight, you can destroy it without taking damage.
Armorer Ghost Mod
You may know by now to use Ghost mods to influence the stat drops of the armor you get. However, you may be using the wrong mod. Destiny armor stats are broken up into two groups; Mobility, Resilience, and Recovery in one group. Discipline, Intellect, and Strength in the other.
Let’s say you want an armor piece with high Recovery and high Resilience, you actually should focus a mod in the other group. That way you have a high chance of getting armor that drops with stats that are high in those categories.
Waisted Stat Points
When building your build, remember that the only stats that matter are the ones that end with zero. So that’s 10,20,30,40,50, etc. Anything in between doesn’t count. So if you have 47 Intellect, those 7 stat points are useless.
The game will still give you ammo if you completely run out
This is for anyone using double special weapon builds. If you actually run out of ammo, the game will give you special ammo. It’ll actually do it twice.
I wouldn’t recommend relying on this method for ammo, however. You have to wait about 15 seconds. Also, it’s not exactly a large amount.
